Book Groups
Book Explorers is a book club for children in grades 2-3! Come to the monthly meeting for a great discussion, fun activity, and snack.
Book Wizards is a book club for 4-6 graders and meets one Monday each month from 5:30-6:30pm, pizza included! Registration required.
Meets the third Wednesday of each month at noon. Join us at our longest running book club. Each month we read books that warrant special merit and discussion. Facilitator: Susan Boyar.
Typically meets the second Saturday of each month, year round. The Cloak and Dagger group reads enticing and mysterious titles. Facilitators: Claudia Compagnoni Gibb and Sandra Walker
Meets the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm year round. The group discusses popular fiction and nonfiction. Facilitator: Judy Berg.
The second Tuesday of each month, the group will discuss New Yorker short fiction, generally from the current week’s issue. The discussions begin at 5 pm. Facilitator: Susan Boyar.
Other Programs
Meets weekly on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm. Come join the knitters as they work on individual projects or projects for the community. Knitters of all levels are welcome. Experienced knitters are always available to help beginners.
We currently offer toddlertime, pre-school/craft, and baby lapsit sessions. Check our calendar or call (203) 622-6883 for a schedule. Registration is usually required for these programs. Each session lasts approximately 6-7 weeks.
We offer weekly Spanish Storytime sessions on Tuesdays at 10:30 am.
