Why should kids have all the fun? Our program is designed to encourage adult readers (18+) to read outside their comfort zones this summer. Complete at least five of these challenges between June 12 and August 14 for a chance to win one of three grand prizes.

Questions about participating in Greenwich Library’s Adult Summer Reading program? See our frequently asked questions below.

Anybody over the age of 18 can participate, no registration required! This program is for Greenwich Main Library, Byram Shubert, and Cos Cob Libraries. For those that are under 18, check out the Library’s children’s and young adult summer reading programs.

Take a look at the form at the top of this page. It outlines every challenge in the adult summer reading program. Pick your favorites and follow the instructions. Some challenges require you to read a book and some challenges ask you to use one of the Library’s many databases. Each time you complete a challenge, submit the form. We’ll keep track of how many challenges you’ve completed and every five enters you into the grand prize drawing. Most of all, have fun!

Upon completion of five challenges, you will be entered into the grand prize drawing, limit three entries. Challenges may only be completed once. A unique book must be used for each book challenge.

We have three identical grand prizes to give away. The grand prize is a tote bag filled with goodies: Yeti mug, picture frame, playing cards, “Book Club” candle, and a $20 gift certificate to the new Cafe at Greenwich Library!

In collaboration with the Library’s Innovation Lab, winners will have the choice to customize their Yeti mug and picture frame.
