Plant a Seed, Read

The 2026 Children’s Summer Reading program at Greenwich Library, “Plant a Seed, Read,” begins on June 8 and ends on August 14.  Track your reading and earn great incentives as you reach your reading goals.

Beginning June 8, children in grades K-6 can sign up online via Beanstack and then stop by the Library to select a free book and pick up a copy of the Master Gardeners game board.

Pre-Readers can participate and earn prizes too by joining the Read-to-Me program. Sign up to track challenges and the books you read together on the Pre-Reader garden map.

Summer Reading Raffle Prizes

K-6 Raffle Prizes

For grades K-6, track your reading through August 14 to complete challenges and receive virtual raffle tickets to add to the virtual prize basket of your choice. When you complete 12 challenges you will receive your reusable aluminum water bottle.

Pre-Reader Raffle Prizes

For Pre-Readers, track your reading through August 14 to complete challenges and receive raffle tickets at your Library branch to enter for a chance to win one of the Pre-Reader raffle prizes. When you complete all 13 challenges visit the Library for a special prize.
