Renovation Project

Our newly renovated building offers an expanded layout.  We’ve shifted the children’s section to the Rotunda and moved the adult section to the western part of the building, providing nearly 600 square feet of additional space for children and young adults. The adult space has more seating as well and features a reading nook in our new non-fiction room. The McArdle Community room is our newly expanded space for programs of all ages. Our Children’s section offers expanded space in the Rotunda, featuring a new collection of board books, a growing collection of read-along books, picture books and plenty of space to sit and read with your children.

The project was supported by a combination of private and public funding through capital improvement appropriations, including support from The Friends of Cos Cob Library.

Cos Cob is excited to offer a variety of programs for all ages, including music, movies, and cultural events with a special focus on book groups.
