Become a Teen Volunteer at the Library!

Need to earn Community Service hours for school? Become a teen volunteer at Greenwich Library!

As a Student Tech Teen Volunteer, you will help patrons using public computers or who attend the Library’s Tech Help program. Help them to navigate and use their devices comfortably.

You’ll first attend an orientation held by appointment before you begin volunteering. Volunteers are required to work a minimum of a two-hour shift. Available days and times are Monday through Friday 9 am – 9 pm, Saturdays 9 am – 5 pm, and Sundays 1-5 pm. To participate, teen volunteers must be students in grades 9-12 who live in or attend schools in Greenwich. Hours are flexible and positions are ongoing and year round.

Greenwich Library is a place for teens in grades 6-12 to find and read books that reflect themselves and their experiences, get college or job ready, tinker with emerging technologies, and ace their next test. Plus, monthly programs and workshops allow teens to develop their skill sets, dive into new hobbies, and make friends with others in the community.
