Group Study Rooms

  • Located on the 2nd floor near DVDs and Fiction
  • Seats 6 people
  • May be reserved one week in advance for up to 3 hours at a time
  • Available during all Library hours
  • Reserve online with D!BS or by calling the Welcome Desk at 203-622-7920.

D!BS Room Reserve FAQs

D!BS allows you to reserve a group study room online so the room will be available when you arrive at the Library.

D!BS is compatible with all smartphones, tablets, or desktops.

A patron can reserve study rooms from 30 minutes up to three hour sessions. Reservations begin and end on the hour and half-hour.

One pending/current reservation at a time per day.  When you receive an email reminder that you have 15 minutes left on your reservation, you may make another.

The room will be held for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, Library staff will cancel the reservation, allowing the room to be booked by another party.

Individual Study Rooms

  • Located on the mezzanine above 1st floor non-fiction
  • Must reserve in person at the Welcome Desk by leaving photo identification
  • Available during all Library hours
  • No food or drink permitted

Meeting Room

  • Board Room Setup for up to 50 people (approx. 25 chairs around table, 25 additional chairs available) located on the Main Branch 2nd Floor
  • Available to local Fairfield County based organizations, Greenwich residents, and Greenwich-based businesses only ($100 fee for businesses)
  • Available: Monday-Friday 5:30 – 8:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm; Sunday 1:00 – 5:00 pm
  • Patron is responsible for all cleanup; there is no access to kitchen or sink
  • Must be reserved at least two weeks in advance
  • Subject to Meeting Facilities Policy Requirements
  • Available for viewing by appointment only. Call 203-622-7981 to make an appointment.
  • To Make a Reservation: Reserve the room by submitting a signed Meeting Room User Agreement to Lily Stevenson by email at lstevenson@greenwichlibrary.org or drop off at Main Branch Welcome Desk. Your reservation will be confirmed by email; Please note, your reservation cannot be held unless User Agreement is submitted.

Cole Auditorium

  • Auditorium seats 368 people; Foyer holds up to 50 for check-in or reception
  • Microphones, lectern, and adjacent Baxter Courtyard are included in the rental
  • No food or drink is allowed inside the Auditorium
  • Available: Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 9:30pm; Saturday 5:30 – 9:30 pm; Sunday 8:30AM – 12:30 pm & 5:30 – 9:30 pm
  • Local Fairfield County based Non-Profit Organizations: $400/four-hour rental, $75/hour for any additional hours
  • All other Greenwich Residents or Businesses: $700/four-hour rental, $150/hour for any additional hours
  • Certificate of Public Liability Insurance is required, naming Greenwich Library as additionally insured for the event
  • If more than 100 people are expected during Library hours, you are required to hire an off-duty police officer to monitor the parking lot
  • If you plan to show a film or PowerPoint, an Authorized Technician must be hired by the user; contact Lily Stevenson for a list of Approved Technicians
  • Must be reserved at least one month in advance
