Group Study Rooms

  • Located on the 2nd floor near DVDs and Fiction
  • Seats 6 people
  • May be reserved one week in advance for up to 3 hours at a time
  • Available during all Library hours
  • Reserve online with D!BS or by calling the Welcome Desk at 203-622-7920.

D!BS Room Reserve FAQs

D!BS allows you to reserve a group study room online so the room will be available when you arrive at the Library.

D!BS is compatible with all smartphones, tablets or desktops.

A patron can reserve study rooms from 30 minutes up to three hour sessions. Reservations begin and end on the hour and half-hour.

One pending/current reservation at a time per day.  When you receive an email reminder that you have 15 minutes left on your reservation, you may make another.

The room will be held for 15 minutes.  After 15 minutes, Library staff will cancel the reservation, allowing the room to be booked by another party.

Individual Study Rooms

  • Located on the mezzanine above 1st floor non-fiction
  • Must reserve in person at the Welcome Desk by leaving photo identification
  • Available during all Library hours
  • No food or drink permitted

Meeting Room

  • Located on the 2nd Floor
  • Board Room Setup for up to 50 people (approx. 25 chairs around table, 25 additional chairs available)
  • Available for Greenwich residents, local organizations, and local businesses only ($100 fee for businesses only)
  • Available on weeknights between 5:30-8:30PM, Saturday between 9AM-5PM, and Sunday between 1-5PM
  • Patron is responsible for all clean up; no access to kitchen or sink
  • Must be reserved at least two weeks in advance
  • Subject to Meeting Facilities Policy Requirements

Cole Auditorium

  • Located adjacent to the Baxter Courtyard
  • Auditorium seats 368 people, Foyer holds up to 50 for check-in or reception
  • Microphones and lectern are included in the rental
  • No food or drink is allowed inside the Auditorium
  • Available on weekdays between 8:30AM – 9:30PM, Saturdays between 5:30 – 9:30PM, and Sundays between 8:30AM – 12:30PM and 5:30 – 9:30PM
  • Non-Profit Organizations: $400 for four-hour rental, $75 per hour for any additional hours
  • All other Greenwich Residents or Local Organizations: $700 for four-hour rental, $150 per hour for any additional hours
  • A Certificate of Public Liability Insurance is required, naming the Library as additionally insured for the event specified herein
  • If more than 100 people are expected to attend during Library hours, the user is required to hire an off-duty police officer to monitor the parking lot
  • If the user plans to show a film or PowerPoint, an Authorized Technician must be hired by the user; contact Lily Stevenson for a list of Approved Technicians
