Opening Night Celebration

AILEY II – Friday, October 2nd

The 2026 Opening Night Celebration features a performance by legendary modern dance company Ailey II in the Berkley Theater, followed by a celebratory cocktail party and grazing dinner catered by Marcia Selden in the Library’s Reading Room, with dancers from the company joining the festivities.

All funds raised from the event support the 2026-2027 season of performing arts programs, including a public performance by Alvin Ailey II on October 3rd, and a yearlong array of extraordinary cultural and educational experiences. All programs are free and accessible to the entire Greenwich Library community.
