Opening Night Celebration

Opening Night Celebration

Greenwich Library hosted the 2025 OPENING NIGHT CELEBRATION on Friday, October 3.

The event featured a dynamic performance by tap dance and music company Music from the Sole, known for their Afro-Brazilian tap dance style, delivering a vibrant and lively celebration in the Berkley Theater. A celebratory cocktail party in the Library’s Reading Room followed the performance, with dancers and musicians from the company joining the festivities.

Funds raised from the event supported the season of programs in the Berkley Theater, including public performances by Music from the Sole on October 4, along with a yearlong array of extraordinary cultural and educational experiences. All programs were free and accessible to the entire Greenwich Library community.
