Innovator-in-Residence

Thank you to everyone who visited with our second Innovator-In-Residence, Mechanical Engineer Walker Wind, who joined us from January through April. Utilizing the Library Innovation Lab’s state-of-the-art tools like laser cutters, 3D printers, and 3D design software, Walker shared his expertise and provide hands-on demonstrations with the Greenwich Library community. A highlight was the Rube Goldberg machine he built for the Innovation Experience event.

Walker is a sustainability consultant who provides engineering and economic analysis to the Department of Energy’s efficiency standards for home appliances and HVAC systems and was previously President of the Tufts chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
