2017 Children’s Summer Reading: Build a Better World

This year’s program runs from Monday, June 12 – Friday, August 11. Students in grades K-6 are eligible to sign up. Track your reading, earn prizes, and enjoy a summer of programs at the library! With a focus on architecture, children will have the chance to create, collaborate, and put their ideas to work in programs like a 3D printing program, an architecture series, and art collage workshop. There are also special events like STEAM magic, live theater, and drop-in crafts.

The Friends of Byram Shubert Library

The Friends of the Byram Shubert Library is a volunteer organization founded in 1953 to support the Byram Shubert branch of the Greenwich Library. The Friends sponsor a wide variety of community oriented programming and physical improvements to the building. We feature exhibits of work by local artists, musical nights, lectures for adults, after school performances for children, and weekend crafts for families.
