We Want Your YA Book Reviews!

Teen Services Librarians get a lot of new Young Adult books to read & read about each week.  Sometimes a fantastic title will slip through the cracks and not get the attention it deserves!

So we’re asking students in grades 6-12 if there are there YA titles out there that you think should get more attention but aren’t?  Are there YA novels or non fiction books you’d like to get the word out on?  And if so, would you want to send us reviews of these titles that we can post in our Teen Central Blog?

If you do want to send us any reviews, keep in mind that the reviews can be up to 3-4 paragraphs, that they must be on titles currently carried by Greenwich Library and it’s branches, and that they are Young Adult titles only.  (Although if it’s a historical/political/other educational topic non fiction title that’s acceptable by your teachers, we can post those too.)  Reviews selected for posting will be edited for content, spelling, etc.

Reviews can be sent to Ed, the Teen Services Librarian at emorrissey@greenwichlibrary.org .  Please specify if you want your real name, initials or a fake name used to credit you for the review (but make sure we at the library get your real name/email so we can contact you if we have any questions).  An example of giving contributors credit would go something like “JC just sent us a review of the new Marie Lu book…”

Looking forward to reading your reviews.  Thanks!
