The Booksellers Panel

Antiquarian booksellers are part scholar, part detective, and part businessperson who play an underappreciated yet essential role in preserving history. The Booksellers takes viewers inside their small but fascinating world, populated by an assortment of obsessives, intellects, eccentrics, and dreamers. This panel was moderated by WNPR’s Colin McEnroe, director D.W. Young, producer Dan Wechsler, and rare book dealer Rebecca Romney.

Peterson Concert: Bill Charlap Trio

Bill Charlap is a Grammy Award-winning pianist who has performed with many leading artists of our time. He is known for his interpretations of American popular songs and has recorded albums featuring the music of Hoagy Carmichael, Leonard Bernstein, and George Gershwin. The Bill Charlap Trio was formed in 1997 with bassist Peter Washington and drummer Kenny Washington and is recognized as one of the leading groups in jazz.
