Greenwich Library and its Cos Cob and Byram branches will be closed in observance of Labor Day from 5 p.m. on Friday, September 2 through Monday, September 5. The Libraries will reopen on Tuesday, September 6 at 9 a.m. But that doesn’t mean you’re without Library resources.
Plan ahead to checkout books, or use our digital library to access materials while the Library is closed. OverDrive, OneClickdigital, Zinio, hoopla and Naxos make ebooks, audio books, magazines, video and music available to patrons 24/7. Visit the Digital Library.
But wait! Why not learn something new – or even become an expert – over the holiday weekend?
Start by accessing the Library’s popular Lynda.com portal using your Library card and pin. Nearly 5,000 high quality video training classes await you – in design, technology, business, marketing and more. Patrons have access to this $35/month career training and education tool at no charge. Lynda’s parent company is LinkedIn, ensuring that the tutorials are first class, as well as being available in five languages.
Wait, there’s more! Many Library databases and collections can also be accessed online. See a complete list of our online databases and resources, including business, nonprofit, history, health, music and more.
Enjoy and make the most of your Labor Day weekend!
