If you’re entering grades 6-12 this fall and you haven’t signed up for this year’s Teen Summer Reading program, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?
You’ll not only be able to enter the amount of pages you’ve read this summer, but you also get a chance to help promote our library catalog by taking part in two or more Challenges that we offer:
Write a book review we can post on the Teen Central Blog or BiblioCommons
Create a book trailer or video book review (no personal images shared), which we can also post on the blog and/or our YouTube
Download a graphic novel/comic from Hoopla, then participate in our GN book group discussion
Download an album from Hoopla and write a short review for the blog or Bibliocommons
Download a movie from Hoopla and/or Kanopy and write a review for the blog or BiblioCommons
Take part in one of our virtual discussion groups on books, GNs & films
By entering the program and doing the Challenges, you also get a chance to win one of three Grand Prizes! A Kindle Fire, a $50 Amazon gift card or a $25 Diane’s Books gift certificate.
Speaking of the Challenges, this Friday August 31, the Virtual YA Graphic Novel Discussion Group for grades 6-8 will talk about this new GN which you can download from our Hoopla platform. If you’re interested, sign up here!
And when you go to the Teen Summer Reading page, be sure to click on the Greenwich Library Teens button!
Teen Summer Reading ends on August 14. We’ll announce the Grand Prize winners online that day. Sign up now!
