Tax time is here again. This year, you can file your taxes beginning on February 12.
Due to Covid-19 safety precautions, there will be no in-person tax preparation services offered at the Greenwich Library.
VIRTUAL TAX HELP
Greenwich Library is offering virtual volunteer income tax assistance that will allow us to effectively complete tax returns while keeping the taxpayer and preparer safe. All required tax documents will be uploaded to a secure system by the taxpayer, and communication between the taxpayer and the tax preparer will take place by telephone, email, and text.
To get started, CLICK HERE and select that you want to “start my taxes online.” You will have to upload photos of your ID, answer some questions about your tax situation, and upload your tax documents. (Note – One of these questions asks if you earn more than $66,000. Even if your income exceeds this amount do not check this box. We will prepare your return irrespective of your income.) Then a tax specialist will call you on the phone to discuss your taxes, answer any questions, and complete your filing.
2021 TAX FORMS
