Greenwich native Claire Messud, the New York Times best-selling author of The Emperor's Children will visit Greenwich Library as part of AuthorsLive on Tuesday, February 20 at 7 pm. Messud's masterful new novel, The Woman Upstairs, is a riveting tale of a woman awakened, transformed and betrayed by a desire for a world beyond her own.Library: Greenwich Library

On the same night, Jenny Offill will discuss her book, Dept. of Speculation, a portrait of a marriage. It is also a beguiling rumination on the mysteries of intimacy, trust, faith, knowledge, and the condition of universal shipwreck that unites us all.
Jenny Offill is the author of the novel Last Things, which was chosen as a notable book of the year by The New York Times and was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times First Book Award.
This event is open to all, but seating in the auditorium is limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
