Dearie, an entertaining biography of chef and author Julia Child was published in August to coincide with the 100th anniversary of Child's birth and written with the support of Child's estate. Dearie is a definitive account of the compelling adventures of one of the most fascinating and beloved figures of our time.

Bob Spitz is the award-winning author of The Beatles, a New York Times best seller, as well as seven other nonfiction books and a screenplay. His work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine; The Washington Post; Rolling Stone; and O, The Oprah Magazine, among others.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and are free and open to all. Copies of Mr. Spitz's book will be for sale and signing will be provided by Diane's Books.
