The Friends of the Byram Shubert Library, a branch of Greenwich Library, will be holding its popular book & media sale inside St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 286 Delavan Ave, on June 8-10, 2007. Get your gift lists ready, because you won't believe the treasures you can find for unbelievable prices!
Donations include many brand new art books, loads of new age, spirituality, self-help and esoteric subject matter books, many boxes of antique sheet music and a customized wooden display case, and thousands of incredible children’s books. There's even a collection of Inuit stone sculptures, with companion reference books!
Nearly 50,000 quality books categorized in 48 categories, as well as an incredible selection of CDs, DVDs, videos, and artwork will be available for sale. There are many gift suitable items, as well as antiques, and a separate room will be filled with materials just for children.
For the best selection, come to a special preview sale on Friday, June 8 from 5:30-8:30 pm. For $15, you can attend the preview and become a Friend of the Library – it’s well worth the entrance fee! On Saturday, June 9 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, the sale is open to all. On Sunday, June 10 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm will be the bargain hunter’s delight “bag and box” sale ($3/bag or $5/box). All proceeds from the sale benefit the branch library's programs and events.
