The New Byram Shubert Library Will Feature:
- Increased number of computers from 6 to 22
- Separate areas for adults, children, and teens
- Community Room with 125 person seating capacity
- ADA compliant renovations
- Additional hours of operation
- Added space for more programs, including: ESL classes, Technology training, Career counseling, Book discussion groups, Author lectures, After school tutoring
Total Campaign Goal:
$4.8 million.
The Library was built in 1974 and totals approximately 5,000 square feet; the expansion will roughly double its size.
