On Tuesday, October 1st, from 4:00-6:00 pm in the library's second floor meeting room, Allyson Valentine, former resident of Cos Cob and the author of the new YA novel How Not To Find A Boyfriend (her first work of fiction; click here to reserve a copy from us), will give a workshop on how to become a professional writer.
Ms. Valentine will show students from grades 6-12 how to work on dialogue, plots, finding the right "voice", and answer other questions relating to writing. Attendees are encouraged to bring samples of their own work. Registration is required. For more details, click here.
