Greenwich Library and its Byram Shubert and Cos Cob branches will be closed on Monday, October 29 due to the forcasted storm. We will post additional updates here, on News12 and WGCH, as well as on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Greenwich Library and its Byram Shubert and Cos Cob branches will be closed on Saturday, December 24- Monday, December 26 for Christmas. The Libraries will also be closed on Sunday, January 1 and Monday, January 2 for New Year's Day.
The Library Cafe will close on Friday, December 23 at 3 pm and reopen Tuesday, January 3. Borrowed materials currently due on December 24 have been extended to December 27.

Greenwich Library and its Byram Shubert and Cos Cob branches will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23 and remain closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25 for Thanksgiving. The libraries will reopen on Saturday, November 26 at 9 a.m.
Greenwich Library and its Byram Shubert and Cos Cob branches will be closed on Monday, September 26 so that staff may participate in a Strategic Planning session.
This session is part of Greenwich Library's year-long Strategic Planning initiative.
The Greenwich Library is open for regular hours today - 9 AM to 9 PM. Our branches will keep regular hours as well, with Byram Shubert open 9AM to 5PM and our Cos Cob branch 12PM to 8 PM. Greenwich Library will be closed on Sunday, August 28 because of the impending hurricane that is expected to impact the area.
All fines and fees will be waived for the day.

Electrical maintenance will require the telephone and voicemail system to be powered down for most of the day. Therefore, patrons will not have access to the automated renewal system as well as staff voicemails. Thank you for your patience.
