Greenwich Library and Greenwich United Way to Present a Full Day Seminar for Grantseekers on June 6
In partnership with the Greenwich United Way Youth Services Council, Greenwich Library presents How to Get a Grant and What to Do Next on Friday, June 6 from 9-4:30 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room.
Led by funding expert Judith Margolin, this full-day workshop for nonprofit executives, volunteers and board members will teach the basics of foundation and corporate funding, and what to do after your organization receives a grant.
Topics will include prospecting; proposal writing and customization; mobilizing board members to fundraise; communication with prospects; and critical follow-up steps post-grant.
Refreshments will be served from 8:30-9 a.m. and space permitting, walk-in participants can register during that time. Judith Margolin is an independent consultant and workshop leader on foundations and grants. She served for several years as Vice President for Planning and Evaluation at the Foundation Center, the nation's leading authority on philanthropy.
