The Friends Cole Concert Series is pleased to welcome back the popular Musicians from Marlboro touring program on Sunday, October 21 at 4 p.m. in the Cole Auditorium.
A Washington Post review of Musicians from Marlboro said, "Impeccable ensemble work, unbridled energy and boatloads of virtuosity produced an electrifying performance," also calling the musicians, "Astoundingly gifted virtuosos...performances that radiate vitality and freshness."

Now celebrating its 48th season, the acclaimed touring program offers not only joyous performances featuring unusual repertoire, but also invaluable experience to emerging artists.The ensemble will perform Haydn's String Quartet in A Major, op. 55, no. 1; Ligeti's Trio for Violin, Horn and Piano; and Mendelssohn's String Quintet No. 1 in A Major, op. 18. Artists include Soovin Kim and Itamar Zorman on violin; Lily Francis and Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt on viola; Paul Wiancko on cello; Benjamin Jaber on horn and Matan Porat on piano.
