This month, the Technology Training Center will offer sessions focused on one of Greenwich Library's most popular and versatile databases, ReferenceUSA.
On Monday, September 12 at 2:30 pm, learn how to Start, Grown and Manage a Business using Reference USA. Entrepreneurs and business owners will learn how to use ReferenceUSA to research prospects and prospective clients; locate hard to find vendors, both locally and nationally; network with other businesses and develop relationships with business for co-branding opportunities. The webinar will also cover understanding community demographics; surveying locations for expansion; sourcing new employees and investors and much more.
Then, on Wednesday, September 14 at 3:30 pm, attendees will learn how to use ReferenceUSA as part of their career search strategy. The webinar will include information on creating engaging cover letters, assembling a network of references and referrers, finding a mentor, building datasets of potential employers based on skill set, work history and preferences as well as interview preparation.
