Elimination of Print Overdue Notices
On September 1, 2011, Greenwich Library will cease mailing circulation notices for overdue items. Posters, flyers and bookmarks advising patrons of the change have been placed throughout all three library locations. Currently, patrons with email addresses receive Courtesy Notices, Holds Notices as well as Overdue Notices by Email. We will continue to send out all of these notices. Patrons without email addresses may ask the circulation desk staff for assistance with their library account. Information Desk staff will also assist patrons with viewing their records, and renewing or reserving items. Additionally, for patrons who would like to set up an email address, the Technology Training Center offers Drop-in Labs every Thursday at 3:00PM. There is also an Email Basics class that is offered regularly. Patrons with new email accounts may refer to Manage Your Account bookmarks for instructions on viewing or updating their records online.
