August 2011 Archives
Greenwich Library will be closed on Sunday, August 28 because of the impending hurricane that is expected to impact the area.
All fines and fees will be waived for the day.
Please visit our website, www.greenwichlibrary.org, or call (203) 622-7900 for further updates.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, NetLibrary is no longer functioning as an eAudiobook and eBook provider. If you're looking for the link on our downloadable Library page, you won't find it. In the near future, Greenwich Library will be adding two new downloadable services to take it's place.
Many of the titles that were in our Netlibrary collection will soon be available via a downloadable eBook and eAudiobook platform from EBSCO. We are in the process of testing the service for functionality. The service is designed to support research and contains scholarly materials. Once we are confident with how it operates, we will make the service available to our patrons.
A new downloadable eAudiobook service called OneClick Digital from Recorded books will also soon be available. This will feature a wide variety of popular fiction and non-fiction titles. We hope to have both of these services up and running shortly.
Please note that neither of these changes affect our Overdrive eBook and eAudiobook collections.
