Get free tax assistance from the VITA Volunteers every Monday and Saturday, February 5 to April 11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Greenwich Library.
Those interested should bring last year's tax return, all W2s and 1099s, all wage and salary information, information on interest and dividends received and paid, and taxes on real estate, property and vehicles. Check the calendar on the Greenwich Library website for room location.
The Greenwich Library will also offer tutorials on how to access and download federal and state tax forms on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 10 a.m.; Thursday, March 3 at 3 p.m.; Monday, March 14 at 7 p.m.; Thursday, March 31 at 3 p.m.; and Friday, April 8 at 11 a.m. Information on downloading federal and state tax extension forms will be reviewed on Thursday, April 14 at 10 a.m. All classes will be held in the Technology Training Center.
