December 2010 Archives

frank4HR.jpgFrank Vignola, one of today's most accomplished and multi-dimensional guitarists, will bring his talents to the Greenwich Library's Cole Auditorium on Sunday, January 9, at 3:30 p.m. In celebration of Django Reinhardt's 100th birthday, Vignola has assembled a topnotch trio for a searing tribute to one of his earliest musical influences.

"Vignola's 100 Years of Django is a perfect present for all lovers of the great Gypsy guitarist," said J Hunter of AllAboutJazz.com.

With a repertoire encompassing every genre from jazz to bluegrass, Vignola's pedigree, including performances and recordings with Donald Fagen, David Grisman and Les Paul, is considered one of the best amongst his peers.
