The Byram branch staff and the Friends of Byram Shubert Library have planned a full slate of programs this September to welcome back children, adults and families. On Saturday, September 11, at 2 p.m., the Saturday Documentary series continues with The September Issue (PG13, 90 min). On Tuesday, September 14 at 5p.m., have Fun with Chess for all ages and skill levels. On Thursday, September 16, 5:30 p.m., Donald Axelroad will present an art exhibit, "Ancient Myths: Modern Messages." Learn about "Healthy Aging, Memory & the Warning Signs of Alzheimer's on Thursday, September 16, 7 p.m. with Dr. Stephen Jones, Director of Greenwich Hospital's Center for Healthy Aging. On Saturday, September 18, Evemarie Edye will present Yoga for Everyone at 10:30 a.m. Then on Thursday, September 23, don't miss The Errante/Cho Trio: An Evening of Chamber Music at 7 p.m. Refreshments, sponsored by the Friends of the Byram Shubert Library, will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Weekly sessions of READ to a Dog resume on Wednesday, September 8 at 3 p.m. Children practice their reading while reading to dogs that are trained to listen. Weekly Preschool Story Time and Crafts with Andrea returns on Tuesday, September 14 at 11:00 a.m.
