The Greenwich Library has welcomed aboard four interns through Greenwich High School's Senior Internship Program. Internships are available through the College/Career Center for students to spend time in a work setting related to their career interests. They will observe and apply their own skills while exploring the opportunities available in the career field of choice. The interns will be with the Library from May 17 through June 25.
Interests: I am interested in majoring in psychology with a minor in environmental studies. I will also be pre-law in the fall and I would like to go onto law school. In my free time I enjoy swimming, reading, watching films and traveling.
Interests: Hi, I am working in the local history office but feel free to ask me any questions concerning technology: internet, website design, Microsoft Office and more. I am an aspiring writer and I hope to major in anthropology and music in college as well as study many foreign languages. In my free time, I very much enjoy knitting, spinning fiber, drawing, writing and hiking.
Interests: My interest is engineering. My goal for this internship is to help people with the use and applications of basic technology. I plan on a major in mechanical engineering in college and pursuing that as my career.
Interests: I enjoy spending my time with my friends. I like watching movies, playing videogames or just sitting down with a good book. I also play basketball, soccer and football with my friends and in community leagues. I plan to major in finance and statistics when I go to UConn.
