The website offers patrons the ability to browse the Library's extensive catalog and place holds on materials, which a family member can pick-up once they are available. Don't think you'll make it back to the library before your books are due? Access your account online to renew books. Browse the library's website, a virtual branch, to access New Acquisitions in the same way you would browse the new book section. Overdrive, the Library's digital resource, allows users to download eBooks and audiobooks straight to their computer, iPod or MP3 player. Just want to listen to music? Stream music straight to your computer through the Library's connection to the Naxos Music Library.
Patrons can access a number of the Library's databases, including ones geared toward health, careers, education, history and biographies, newspapers, magazines and more. Tumble Books, a database designed to help children grow a love for reading, is also available through the Library's new website. Have a reference or borrowing question? Use the "Ask a Librarian" feature under the Research tab at the top of the website. For more information on the Greenwich Library website and its many features, please call the Reference Desk at (203) 622-7910 and we will see you when you feel better.
