Planning for retirement can be difficult in any financial landscape, but the road is now steeper than ever. Let
Julie Jason, author of "The AARP Retirement Survival Guide: How to Make Smart Financial Decisions in Good Times & Bad," teach you the tips to navigate financially through your retirement on Thursday, September 17, at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the Greenwich Library Meeting Room. This is the fifth book authored by Jason, a money manager, lawyer and financial columnist. Jason will discuss "The AARP Retirement Survival Guide" and field questions on topics ranging from taxes and the strength of the dollar in retirement to reverse mortgages and selecting a financial advisor.
A champion of investor education, Jason has appeared on national and local TV and radio programs. She pens a weekly investor column for the
Greenwich Time and
Stamford Advocate, which is now in its tenth year of publication. Jason has also presented at national and local conferences, and takes every opportunity to empower people to improve their personal financial situations.
