International piano sensation Shai Wosner will bring his wide-ranging repertoire and imaginative programming to Greenwich Library's Cole Auditorium on Sunday, October 4, at 4 p.m.
Wosner continues to attract recognition worldwide for his exceptional artistry, musical integrity and creative insight. His virtuosity and perceptiveness have increasingly made him a favorite among audiences and critics alike.
Wosner will perform works of Johannes Brahms and Ludwig van Beethoven for the concert, which is part of the Friends Cole Concert Series.
A native of Israel, Wosner has recently appeared in recitals throughout the U.S. and Europe, including London's Wigmore Hall, the Musée d'Orsay in Paris and The 92nd Street Y in New York. His many chamber music engagements in the 2008-2009 season include a concert with members of The New York Philharmonic at Avery Fisher Hall, and a performance of the Mozart concerto for three pianos with Joseph Kalichstein and Alon Goldstein and the New York String Orchestra with Jaime Laredo at Carnegie Hall.
