Learn to rock your next phone interview and boost your Social IQ into better business etiquette, when the Peterson Business Program Series hosts two events designed to strengthen your appeal to prospective employers.
Sara Hacala, of Sara Hacala Associates, will speak on the subject of Business Etiquette and Social IQ on Monday, October 5, at 6 p.m., in the Meeting Room.
Hacala is a certified etiquette and protocol consultant, who has worked with corporate employees, organizations and individuals. Social skills, social intuition and awareness of self and others are fundamental ingredients in creating a polished professional image that can make or break a career. Paul J. Bailo, author of The Official Phone Interview Handbook, Master the Phone Interview, will speak at Greenwich Library on Wednesday, October 14, at 6 p.m., in the Meeting Room.
Today more job candidates make the initial contact with their prospective employers over the phone. Bailo will describe how to prepare for a phone interview, what to say, when to say it and how to establish a professional presence over the phone. His advice will help job seekers get to the next step in the interview process. Copies of his book will be available for sale.
