Friends to Take Best of Brooklyn Trip

brooklyn.jpgThe Friends of Greenwich Library will visit Brooklyn on Wednesday, May 20. The trip includes a guided walking tour through many 19th century neighborhoods featuring row houses, mansions, churches and parks. The tour offers the opportunity to experience a variety of architectural styles and spectacular harbor views.

The bus leaves the Greenwich Library parking lot at 8:30 a.m. and returns at approximately 5:00 p.m. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes. The cost of the trip is $85 for Friends and $90 for Guests and includes an authentic Brooklyn lunch with choice of cheeseburger, hot corned beef, hot pastrami or turkey sandwich. To register, pick up a form at Greenwich Library or call the Friends office at 203-622-7938.
