Preparing for College

Greenwich Library's Teen Services will present a workshop on College Planning with Howard and Matthew Greene of Howard Greene Associates on Monday, January 26 at 7 pm. The Greenes will discuss the essential elements of preparing for and gaining admission to college today, including choosing the right academic program and planning for standardized testing. They will debunk common myths about college admissions and talk about what really matters in finding the right colleges that fit a student's personal interests and qualifications.

This program is free and open to all, especially parents and teens, who are encouraged to attend together. Registration is not required. For more information, please contact Teen Services Librarian Margaret Walsh at 622-7915.

pig.jpgSeven delightful stories come to life in Theatreworks USA's musical revue If You Give a Pig a Pancake & Other Story Books at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31 at the Cole Auditorium at Greenwich Library.

The concert is sponsored by the Friends of Greenwich Library and is part of their series of free children's programs. Performed by a multi-talented cast, the stories represent various issues, themes and ideas relevant to a broad and diverse audience of children. Books featured in the show include:
