Photographer and Mountaineer Olaf Soot to Discuss Alpine Americas

Photographer and author Olaf Soot will take us on a mountaineer's tour of the 10,000 mile range of peaks from the Arctic to Patagonia. Mr. Soot, a local resident, will show and tell from his new book Alpine Americas on Wednesday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room at Greenwich Library.

Soot's stunning photo essay covers the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and Brooks Range in Alaska along with the Rockies and Andes. Mr. Soot and his wife Gitta have traveled and photographed in some of the most remote and awe-inspiring mountain ranges in the world.
