FOL to Visit Culinary Institute and FDR Home

The Friends of Greenwich Library will tour the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) and FDR's home on Thursday, November 13. The trip includes lunch in the American Bounty Restaurant on the CIA campus. America's cultural heritage is brought to life by the Bounty's imaginative cuisine. A recipient of the prestigious Ivy Award, the restaurant features regional specialties prepared with Hudson Valley ingredients. The trip continues to Springwood, the estate FDR loved and the place he considered home. Some walking will be involved.

The bus will leave the rear parking lot of Greenwich Library promptly at 8:30 AM and return at approximately 5:30 PM. Pick up a registration form at the library or call 203-622-7938 for more information. The cost for the trip is $90 for Friends, $95 for guests and includes lunch.
