FOL Trip to Mark Twain's Home and Hill-Stead Museum

The Friends of the Greenwich Library will sponsor a bus trip to Mark Twain's Home and Museum and Hill-Stead Museum in Hartford, CT on Wednesday, May 14. The trip also includes lunch at Apricot's overlooking the Farmington River. Mark Twain's home and recently added museum features exhibits and a documentary film about the life of the beloved American author. Hill-Stead is a Colonial revival mansion which has been authentically restored. The museum features impressionist paintings, fine period antiques and estate gardens filled with spring blossoms.

The bus leaves the rear parking lot of the Greenwich Library at 8:30 AM and returns at approximately 5:30 PM. $85 for Friends, $90 for guests includes lunch. To register, call the Friends Office at 203-622-7938.
