Did You Know? - If you haven't had the chance, check out Chris Shields' "Did You Know?" blog at www.hstg.org/didyouknow.php.  Chris is the archivist at the Greenwich Historical Society.  He covers a lot of interesting topics concerning the history of Greenwich.

Everyday Heroes - Don't forget to check out this exhibit on local disasters and emergency responders (Police, Firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians).  There's a hands-on gallery of police and responder gear for parents and their children.   This exhibit at the Historical Society on Strickland Road closes on August 26th.

White on White: Churches of Rural New England - This exhibit at Bruce Museum is a photo essay by Steve Rosenthal.  It chronicles the cultural and historical roles of smalltown, white churches in the 18th and 19th centuries.  The black and white photos provide an interesting study in light and angles.  You can also see the Greek and Gothic influence in the architecture.   It runs until September 23rd.

The Olympic Games: Art, Culture and Sports - Until September 2, you you can see an exhibit at Bruce Museum that compares the modern and ancient Olympics through objects, science, art and technology.  Just in time for the London 2012 Olympics that begins on July 27th.
