The Connecticut Tech Act Project (hereafter referred to as
CTTAP) has been set up by the state's Social and Rehabilitation Services to
"help individuals with disabilities of all ages and all disabilities, as well as family members, employers, educators and other professionals have access to Assistive Technology devices and services". CTTAP keeps persons with disabilities updated on services that can assist them, like
SafeLink Wireless, which provides (with proper verification) free cell phones, and
news items that may be of interest to them. To find out more about CTTAP,
