The American Federation for the Blind (AFB) has a site for persons who are blind or visually impaired seeking jobs and/or information on how to get jobs.  CareerConnect (go here) also offers advice on how to post resumes and practice interviews, assists potential employers, and has online podcasts and video seminars on working with people with disabilities (not just visual ones either).  There's a wealth of important information on this site that can assist job seekers and employers alike, so give it a look.

Persons with and without disabilities can assist those less fortunate in this holiday season.

61Rbhvi6nzL__SL500_AA240_.jpgWell, the title's not quite accurate.  The four films on Warner's 2 DVD set Karloff & Lugosi Horror Classics are actually two horror films and two comedies, and only one film in the collection (one of the comedies) has the two horror icons of the title, Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi, co-starring together.  But all four films, making their belated DVD debut, are quite entertaining in their respective ways.

The Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation, Inc. (CLERF) was originally set up to provide funding for eye research at the University of Connecticut.  Recently, they've been working with the Yale Eye Center in trying to fund research into stopping (or ay least delaying the spread of) Macular Degeneration.  If you're interested in helping them continue funding this important research, please consider making a donation to CLERF.  Details can be found at their site here.
