Travel Web Sites For The Disabled

The holidays are coming up and persons with disabilities will be among those journeying far to see relatives and friends.
Greenwich Library has links to sites that can assist those travelers with special needs, beginning with the Access-Able Travel Source site (go here), which you can locate on the library's "For Persons With Disabilities" page here.  The site offer people with disabilities access to services and other site links that accomendate travelers with special needs.  Another site that assists disabled travelers is the Accessible Journeys site, which has special emphasis on wheelchair users.  Finally, there's the awkwardly-titled (sigh) Gimp On The Go web site, which also offers travel tips and recommendations of services to the vacationing disabled.  Look over them and see which one can fit your needs.
