On Greenwich Library's "For Persons With Disabilities" link (go here), you can find the web site Deaf Linx, which provides information and access to services for members of the hearing impaired community.
The online links that Deaf Linx offers include ones on deaf culture, sign language, legal resources, counseling for families with deaf children, and social chat sites, among others. So head to http://www.deaflinx.com/ and see what's offered.
