The Connecticut Disability Advocacy Collaborative (CT-DAC), which holds its meetings at the Norwalk police station on the last Wednesday of every month, works to improve services for the disabled who live and work in the state.  The CT-DAC's current focus is on the proposed cuts in funding by Governor M. Jodi Rell for several disability-related programs and services, which they go into more detail about here in their online Calendar of Events.  Persons wanting to contact the CT-DAC for information about their efforts to assist persons with disabilities can go here

Governor Rell's office can be reached by email here if you wish to let her know about how you feel about the proposed cuts in service.
