Greenwich Library | ADA Programs Greenwich Library ADA Programs at Greenwich Library. en-us 60 "Concussions in Education: What You Need to Know <b>When:</b> Tuesday, March 08, 2016 - 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM<br><b>Where:</b> Greenwich Library at Cole Auditorium<br><br>This panel discussion program is designed for the entire community to learn about brain injuries in our schools and colleges. The talk will feature a multi-disciplinary group of brain injury experts curated by The Brain Trust. The panel will include medical experts from The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and the University of California at San Francisco, the CEO from Maguire Associates, Inc., education industry risk managers and other industry professionals who will all come together to discuss student wellness amid the concussion. Topics will range from “Return to Play” and early interventions, to “Return to Learn” and the importance of training institutional personnel in their vital role of supporting the returning student through temporary cognitive disabilities associated with recovery and return following a concussion.<br /><br />This is a co-sponsored event between Junior League of Greenwich and Greenwich Library. <br />There is no charge to attend this event.<br /><br />Registration is suggested.
