2015-2016 Annual Campaign

Ways of Giving

The Greenwich Library is supported by the public/private partnership between the Town and individual donors. The Town of Greenwich provides about 72% of the annual budget, covering most of the operating expenses of the Library. All programs and many of our broad-based collections and services are made possible by our generous donors. Click here to see some of the ways your support is helping the library.

Without private contributions, essential programs are threatened–we need your support now more than ever. You can donate securely using one of the links below. Please feel free to contact Nancy Klein at 203-622-7957 or send an email if you need any additional information.

Honor or Memorial Gifts

Give a gift to the Greenwich Library as a tribute or in honor of someone's birthday, anniversary or other special occasion. This is a particularly meaningful way to acknowledge them, while also supporting the library.

To donate stock/securities, please use this form and mail or email it accompanied by the Pledge/Gift form linked above.

*All gifts will be recognized in our annual Honor Roll of Donors. If you would like your gift to remain anonymous or have any questions, please contact Heidi Lockwood, Development Associate, at (203) 622-7989 or by e-mail.

Planned Giving

The Elizabeth Milbank Anderson Society
Your planned gift or bequest will help ensure that this beloved institution can respond to our community's constantly evolving expectations of a 21st century library, with the collections, programs, facilities and resources needed to continue providing superior services to the children, teens and adults of our community. Employee Matching Gifts

Increase the value of your contribution to the Library through your employers matching gifts program. Many corporations and businesses will match employee gifts to a qualifying nonprofit organization, check with your personnel office or corporate contributions officer for guidelines.

Gifts of Securities

Securities are always an excellent and popular method of making gifts. Discover more about this form of gift and how to transfer securities.

Corporate Giving

The Greenwich Library offers corporations and businesses the opportunity to enhance their presence in the community through the support of a wide range of Library programs, initiatives and sponsorship opportunities. These gifts are essential to the Library's success. If you would like additional information, please email the Trustees' Development Office.

The Greenwich Library is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization registered with the IRS and with the State of Connecticut.
